Meet the Doctors
Dr. Brett R. Finkelmeier, DDS, MS
For Dr. Finkelmeier, coming back to practice here was easy — there's no better place to raise a family, and no better experience to pass on to his own kids than the one he had growing up.
A proud Carmel native, Dr. Finkelmeier played varsity basketball for Carmel High School before going on to play for the Indiana University Hoosiers. He then channeled that same dedication into his academic career at IU School of Dentistry, where he graduated with high honors and finished at the top of his class.
Dr. Finkelmeier completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville and returned home eager to give back to the community that shaped him. Now in his tenth year of practice, he finds that same fulfillment outside the office — coaching his kids in youth basketball and soccer and cheering them on from the sidelines.
He and his wife, Nicole, are proud parents of four — Beckham, Christian, Presley, and Leni. When the family isn't on the court or the field, you'll likely find Dr. Finkelmeier hunting down the best BBQ or pizza in the area. For him, there's no greater privilege than caring for the friends, neighbors, and families he sees around town every day.

Dr. Anoop Sondhi, DDS, MS
Dr. Sondhi has been a fixture in the orthodontic community of northern Indianapolis for decades — and after a brief retirement, he found he wasn't quite finished.
Dr. Sondhi opened his own orthodontic practice in 1982 and spent the next several decades building a reputation as a skilled clinician and trusted member of the community. After retiring, it didn't take long to realize something was missing. A visit to Dr. Finkelmeier's office — where he watched a consultation unfold with the kind of care and precision he recognized immediately — was all it took.
That connection runs deep. Dr. Sondhi treated Dr. Finkelmeier as a child and later mentored him through dental school, his orthodontic residency, and the early years of his practice. Joining forces felt like a natural next chapter.
Dr. Sondhi brings with him a wealth of experience alongside a genuine enthusiasm for the innovations reshaping modern orthodontics. From digital treatment planning and indirect bonding to the latest advancements in clear aligners and 3D-printed brackets, he believes there has never been a more exciting time to practice. For many of his new patients, he's already a familiar face — the same doctor who treated their parents years ago.
He and his wife are proud grandparents of eight, all of whom live nearby. For Dr. Sondhi, that's precisely the point — great orthodontic care, rooted in community, is always worth coming back for.
